Nikki wanted a more country/western look for her wedding, so we held it in the pavilion, added a few cowboy boots and some fall decorations, and voila.. she got her wish!

Behind the scenes
Our staff has been coming up with some pretty incredible looking displays lately. Christa's been going to culinary school and coming up with some really nice, fresh ideas. Between that and Amanda's incredible cakes, Crystal's superb cooking and Becky helping with the decorations, we have a great team! I'll share more about the rest of the team in a later post.

Catherine and James
We had quite the event Saturday with Catherine, James, their families and friends. I'm a big fan of live music, having been in the music business for so many years. So I was thrilled that Catherine chose to have a violinist to play at her wedding, and a band for the reception. We had a great time with this great couple.
Just after this photo, she tells me, "I hate photos!". "Should I leave now?", I said... she changed her mind. I'm glad. would have missed some fun shots.
I think they got into this photo a little more than she expected...
Some photogenic flower girls made my day... see below.
So these guys had a great idea of having a pumpkin carving party for their rehearsal dinner! Some pretty incredible works of art were produced.
Did I mention the photogenic flower girl? I'll have you know that she asked me to shoot her wedding, when she grows up of course. It's going to be on January 1st, when she grows up. Or at least that's her plan for now. I'm holding the date.
This is Mike Sherman. One of the greatest guitar players in the world. We worked together at the Louise Mandrell Theater for years. So much fun to have these guys playing.
Now these ladies aren't really part of the band, but they had a great time. Can you tell?
Yeah... you can tell.
