Thanks for a fun afternoon, and we look forward to seeing you in July.

Brooke and Kevin

Brooke and Kevin live in middle Tennessee, and met on Match.com! and from what I heard this weekend, that really works! At least it sure did in their case...

Congratulations to this sweet couple. It was a pleasure having you elope to Bluff Mountain!

Elisabeth and Pete

Here are some shots from Elisabeth and Pete's Wedding Friday night. Pete is a professional photographer himself, so the pressure was on!! Actually I think he enjoyed being on the other side of the camera for a change, and poses came quite natural.

We had a great time with these folks. Thanks for coming to Bluff Mountain for your big day.

Hollywood comes to Pigeon Forge

You remember Taylor, our resident beauty pageant contestant and cheerleader, right????

Well this week is her birthday, and we had a real honest to goodness Hollywood moment here at Bluff Mountain.

Party supplies all around...

Amanda made an incredible cake (everything's edible except the ribbon... how does she do that??)

Limos arrive with the stars and starlets..

I'm not sure they've ever had that many people in those limos before.. but they were having a big time!

And the red carpet is rolled out for Taylor, the star of the show!

Even Granny gets into the act! I love her glasses.

Here we have a future beauty queen in training. She poses and freezes anytime the camera is pointed in her direction. Trust me, I have a lot of these shots...

A Hollywood party wouldn't be complete without suspense, a lot of bling...

Something's going on here... I think it has to do with who's going to be the first to volunteer to dance with a GIRL!!!

The crowd watches in awe as Taylor cuts into her cake...

So here's the whole gang, I think... it was a little tricky keeping up with all these guys. But it's a good looking group nonetheless.. note: here are our future senators, firemen, astronauts, doctors and nurses, and of course, Movie Stars!!!

And here are our current camera hogs!

Happy Birthday Taylor! Thanks for bringing all your friends over to see us.

UPDATE!!!!!!

As I was taking a second look tonight at these photos, there were a few more that I thought were just plain fun... just like the kids were having this afternoon... just plain fun. Please indulge a few more...

I told you I had a lot of these....

Thanks for taking a look.

Now for something completely different...

So this afternoon, just for kicks, we went out with our friend Susan who is a singer and very talented in all sorts of theatrics and took some fun shots.

Susan has a couple of projects out and is planning on one upcoming. Maybe some of these images will make the album cover.

After several scenes at the inn we're off to the creek! I've been wanting to use this creek for quite a while and today was the day!!!

Gotta be careful getting in the water, but once you're there the water's fine...

We'd been wanting to experiment with some new lighting techniques, so who more perfect to try lighting effects on than the Lighting Director for the Ringo Starr tour, no? (among many others... she's a lighting whiz and spent several years flashing lights in my face, so this was payback!)

Here's 2/3 of my production team doing one heck of a job, imho...

And here's the proof!

Sometimes you just have to go out an try some new stuff, and thanks to Susan's willingness and fun attitude, we had a great afternoon. Let's hope she cuts a Gold Record!!!

Thanks for Elizabeth Arnold for the very cool hair styles, Amanda Eggleston for posing assistance and being my voice activated lighting stand. And to Jennifer Arnold for the mighty wind...

Sarah and Matt

Here are a few of our favorite shots from Sarah and Matt's wedding this Saturday. The colors were a great contrast and just popped out from our big natural backdrop. It was a fun group, and we're really glad they found us here on the mountain.

Congratulations and best wishes from all of us here at Bluff Mountain Inn.

Maria and Anthony

Meet Anthony and Maria who came from Ohio for their destination wedding, complete with a strolling violinist for the ceremony and reception. Maria is a classical pianist, so it just makes sense she would want live music for this most special day.

Jason Baker is a wonderful violinist. If you're considering having a wedding here, you really should inquire about his services. It's just a classy touch...

Seems we might have some aspiring wedding photographers in the group...

Best wishes to this happy couple, and thanks for Sondra, our associate photographer for taking these (and many more) wonderful shots!!

Stephanie and CJ's Big Bluff Mountain Wedding

These folks were here just a few months ago for their engagement photos. Stephanie had a totally different look for her wedding day, don't you think? CJ had pretty much the same look, just add a tux...

Can you tell already it's going to be a fun day???

There was a little dispute between Stephanie and her sister about who was actually supposed to have the heirloom necklace. It turned out OK but was a little touchy for a minute.

Here's one I'll submit to Bride Magazine one day, if they ever ask me...

Here she's sneaking up the stairs out back while CJ and the guys are coming in the front door. We had her covered...

The bridal party was a lot of fun and open to any sort of poses we threw at them. Thanks guys!

And we had some great afternoon sky for a backdrop.

We had a lot of fun with this group. Thanks for finding us here on the mountain. We wish you the very best.

We wish this happy couple a long and happy life together. Cheers!!!

Billie Jo and Johnithan

It was a beautiful day for a wedding here today, and these folks took full advantage of the situation!

Prepping and primping...

Evidently the size XXS tux didn't fit this little guy, but he was sure cute.

Billie Jo looked like a movie star! They had a 1920s theme complete with the music of the era.

Quite a smashing bunch of guys, no?

One of the bridesmaids got him on the cheek, but we'll never tell...

As I was walking back to the house following the big day, this guy was hanging out next to the front door. I hear they're supposed to be good luck, so we're hoping that's the case for all involved in today's event. Best wishes to the happy couple and their great family.

Taylor and the Beauty Pageant

This is our friend Taylor. You might remember her from some recent cheerleader shots. Anyway, Taylor decided she wanted to enter the Fairest of the Fair contest this year, so we volunteered to help (it is the volunteer state you know...)

Here she is practicing her speech and poses for the runway.

There were going to be some skates involved, but that got changed at the last minute. She did practice a lot though...

as her loving coach/stylist/beauty queen consultant looked on.

Here she is just before leaving for the fairgrounds. I wasn't sure about the hair thing, but I knew they had a plan.

And voila, instant beauty queen! (we can just imagine Stevie Wonder playing "Isn't she lovely" in the background, no?)

She even got a trophy!!!

And although it wasn't the biggest trophy in the house, she was very proud, and we were all very proud for her. After all, it was her first time. We have a feeling it won't be her last...

Congratulations Taylor! Good job.
