I had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie and CJ for the first time on Sunday when they were here for a meeting. We took the opportunity to do an engagement session and had absolutely no problems getting them to get close for these photos. We look forward to many more at their wedding in September. Melissa and Justin

It was our honor and pleasure to have such a large group of military folks here on Memorial Day Weekend. I'm sure Melissa looks different in her other uniform, but she's quite striking in this one...

Elizabeth and Josh

Josh and Elizabeth came to us last summer. They were planning a big wedding at the Sevierville Baptist Church but needed a place for a large reception.

This gave us a chance to add some extra space to our pavilion, and it really was a grand gala.

April and Thomas

April told me early in the day that she wanted a photo with her in the water. We decided that sneaking into the nearby pool and jumping in might be a stretch... but it's not out of the question!

A Wonderful Wedding Day!

Jenna and Justin came to town on Wednesday for their wedding on Saturday. When Jenna came by the house to take a look around she was a little nervous, as she'd been planning the perfect wedding for months. "As soon as I came into the office and saw all my colors and samples in your files, I knew everything was taken care of and I was able to relax", she said. And relaxed they were on Saturday! The whole family planned their vacations around this wedding and spent several days before and a couple of days after in nearby cabins. I think I heard a party going on Friday night... but they'll have to tell you about that.

When the reception was over Jenna and Justin stopped over to tell us goodbye. "You have no idea how happy we are with everything that happened today! The flowers, the cake, the food, the ceremony, the hospitality... Our guests kept coming up to us to say how great the staff was. This is exactly what we wanted. Something in the mountains where all our friends and family could come and spend time together and have fun. It was the perfect day!"

And we say, thanks to you Jenna and Justin, for bringing such a great group of folks to our place for a celebration. We wish you a wonderful, long life together! You really made our day.

Tiffany and Gary

Congratulations to Tiffany and Gary on their wedding day. Being from Eastern North Carolina, Tiffany is a true Southern Belle, complete with the charming accent. And I thought, a little shy... see below.










So we'd done all these traditional portraits, and I'm thinking we're about done. Then in her own understated style Tiffany says to me, "you think the ground is wet?".

I got the hint...

Kicking around town

Our online photo proofing and photo lab service is provided by Pictage. Once a month all the Pictage photographers in the area get together to swap ideas, etc. And sometimes we take some models around and take photos of them, just for fun. So that's what we did yesterday in Downtown Knoxville, and we had a blast. There were 8-10 photographers running around town shooting these nice folks from all sorts of angles. Even though there was a Sundown in the City concert going on, we put on quite a show of our own.
